There will be growth at Hansen on 1 January 2023. Hansen GmbH will take over Laserworks by allinn B.V. from Amersfoort, NL as part of an asset deal. With this investment, Hansen is expanding its luminous panel division to include illuminated rubber frame systems for textile prints.
Made in the Netherlands" becomes "Made in Germany"
Laserworks was founded in 1981 by Jos van Vliet in the illuminated advertising sector. Luminous panels have been produced there since 2008. From 2012, the expansion of the business division took place with son Dean van Vliet. Dean now wants to retire from active business and has found a partner in Hansen with whom he can be sure that the quality of his products will be maintained. Because that is his top priority. O-ton Dean van Vliet on the change: "Changes will come, but the result will be good!"
In the same industry segment
The existing customer base from the areas of shopfitting, interiors, advertising technology and kitchens will be supplied by Hansen with the familiar products. The same profiles, the same construction method. Remko van der Laak is responsible for the field service and customer care BeNeLux for this product segment.
The integration of Laserworks products into our product portfolio is an enrichment for our company and we are looking forward to this new challenge, says Managing Director Martin Hansen. The plan is that the German market will also benefit from the products from March 2023.
A new name for the product at Hansen has also already been found: Meisterkeder. At 20 mm, a flatness for backlighting purposes in textile printing that has never been achieved on the market before.
