Generational change – change in management

After 35 years, the company founders Dorothea & Hans-Thomas Hansen are handing over management to the next generation. Tim & Martin Hansen have taken over as the new Managing Directors at Hansen as of the beginning of this year. Reiner Hansen will continue to serve as Managing Director.

New Design for hansen

After many months filled with ideas, conversations, and fresh perspectives, the time has finally come: we are presenting ourselves with a new design. Our logo has changed, our corporate design has been rethought, and our imagery and overall brand appearance have been given a new look. Throughout the process, it was important for us to create something new while ensuring it remains unmistakably hansen. Since 1984, we have been developing, planning, and manufacturing right here in North Friesland. Technology, electronics, and lighting remain at the heart of what we do. What has changed is the way we present hansen to the world. And of course, a new website is part of this transformation. More modern, more intuitive, and offering even deeper insights into our products, references, and what makes hansen unique.

New Terrace & Summer Barbecue | September 11, 2026

Celebrating the End of Summer Together

In spring, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work! Our terrace received a complete makeover and has been shining in new splendour ever since. We would like to say a big thank you to Gartenholz Kiehne from Haselund for the professional installation. GartenSchön from Husum took care of the planting and added the finishing green touches – thank you for the wonderful design! Throughout the summer, we made the most of our new terrace. Whether for a short break, a chat with colleagues or simply a moment to get some fresh air – our new outdoor area quickly became a favourite spot. To round off the summer, we enjoyed a barbecue together last week with Eventservice Hansen. Of course, the plan was to spend the evening on our new terrace.
