We are expanding our product range
As of January 1, 2023, hansen is growing. Hansen GmbH is acquiring Laserworks by allinn B.V. from Amersfoort, NL as part of an asset deal. With this investment, hansen is expanding its surface lighting division to include illuminated keder frame systems for tension fabric applications.
From “Made in the Netherlands” to “Made in Germany”
Laserworks was founded in 1981 by Jos van Vliet in the field of advertising lighting. Since 2008, the company has been producing surface lighting solutions. In 2012, the business area was further expanded together with his son Dean van Vliet. Dean now wishes to step back from active operations and has found a partner in hansen, where he is confident that the quality of his products will be maintained. This has always been his top priority. Dean van Vliet’s comment on the transition: “Changes come, but the result will be good!”
Within the same industry segment
hansen will continue to serve the existing customer base in retail construction, interior design, advertising technology, and kitchen sectors with the well-known products. The same profiles, the same construction method. Sales and customer support for the BeNeLux region for this product range will be handled by Remko van der Laak.
The integration of Laserworks products into our portfolio is a valuable addition to our company, and we are looking forward to this new challenge, says Managing Director Martin Hansen. The plan is for the German market to also benefit from these products starting in March 2023.
A new name for the product at hansen has already been found: Meisterkeder. With a 20 mm profile, it offers a flat construction not previously achieved on the market for backlit textile prints.
