Lamberti Church, Mildstedt

Wall-mounted V-profile spotlight for church lighting.

For Lamberti Church in Mildstedt, hansen developed a flexible lighting concept using customised LED technology. The solution highlights the church interior, particularly the altar and organ, and creates an atmospheric setting for visitors.

The project

The Freese pastoral family wanted a modern lighting solution that would give the church greater visual appeal while creating a special atmosphere for visitors.

The electrical installation was carried out by Elektro Pohns from Simonsberg. Following a successful previous project with hansen, it quickly became clear that the two companies would work together again.

The right lighting solution

The aim was to create a flexible solution allowing different colours and brightness levels to be adjusted individually. There were hardly any specific requirements – the main wish was for atmospheric, colourful lighting that would highlight the altar area and organ.

A hansen V-profile wall washer in a customised design was selected. Equipped with RGB high-power modules, the profile was specially adapted to the architectural conditions of the church.

The implementation

The lighting solution was planned in close cooperation with Pastor Hartwig Freese and Elektro Pohns and adapted to the specific characteristics of the church interior. The customised design enabled harmonious illumination of both the church interior and the organ.

The lighting is controlled wirelessly via a handheld remote control. This allows the colour and brightness to be adjusted at any time, depending on the occasion.

The result

Today, Lamberti Church can be illuminated in a wide range of different colour moods. The illuminated organ in particular becomes an eye-catching feature and, together with the church choir, creates a unique visual and acoustic experience.

The new lighting was first used for a special occasion at the induction service of Pastor Marlene Freese. The church interior was bathed in warm golden light, creating a festive and atmospheric setting for this special moment.
