As a partner of Glasprinter.de, hansen produces the LED lighting technology for individually designed glass images. Whether for kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces or commercial interiors – every image can be combined with customized lighting.

The Project

For around six years, Glasprinter.de has been offering individually printed glass images for private and commercial customers. Customers can choose from different sizes and motifs and, if desired, have their glass image supplied with integrated lighting.

While the lighting technology was initially installed directly by Glasprinter, hansen has been responsible for this part of the process for the past four years. This allows both companies to focus on their respective strengths while significantly increasing production capacity.

The Right Lighting Solution

The cooperation came about almost by chance. While looking for a suitable LED manufacturer, Operations Manager Hans-Jürgen Thöns came across hansen and shortly afterwards attended a customer event. It quickly became clear just how many possibilities hansen could offer beyond conventional LED production.

Today, hansen supplies the complete lighting technology as a ready-to-connect unit. Glasprinter can therefore focus entirely on printing and finishing the glass panels.

The Implementation

The lighting is individually adapted to each glass image. The complete technical module is manufactured, assembled and supplied ready to connect by hansen.

This allows the lighting to be integrated directly into the finished glass image. Private customers should have the installation carried out by a qualified electrician, while specialist companies can integrate the customized solutions directly into their own projects.

The close cooperation has resulted in an efficient solution that combines individual design with high-quality LED technology. hansen handles the complete lighting solution – from production to ready-to-connect delivery.
