Data protection

We would like to inform you below about the processing of personal data in the context of the use of our Internet pages.

Person responsible

The person responsible for these Internet pages is Hansen GmbH (Norderstraße 1, 25855 Haselund). Further information about our company and the persons authorised to represent it can be found in our imprint.

What data is processed?

Legal basis for data processing
In order to be able to offer you our website and the associated services, we process personal data on the basis of the following legal basis:

  • Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO)
  • for the fulfilment of contracts (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO)
  • on the basis of a balancing of interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO)
  • for the fulfilment of a legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) DSGVO).

We will refer to the relevant terminology in connection with the respective processing so that you can classify on which basis we process personal data.

If personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

If we process data on the basis of a balance of interests, you as the data subject have the right to object to the processing of personal data, taking into account the requirements of Article 21 of the GDPR.

Access data
When you visit our website, personal data is processed in order to display the content of the website on your terminal device.

In order for the pages to be displayed in your browser, the IP address of the terminal device you are using must be processed. Additional information about the browser of your end device is also processed.

We are obliged by data protection law to also guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data processed with our IT systems.

For this purpose and out of this interest, the following data is logged on the basis of a balancing of interests:

  • IP address of the calling computer (for a maximum of 7 days)
  • Operating system of the calling computer
  • Browser version of the calling computer
  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Volume of data transferred
  • referring URL

The IP address is deleted after 7 days at the latest from all systems used in connection with the operation of these Internet pages. We can then no longer establish a personal reference from the remaining data.

The data is also used to identify and correct errors on the Internet pages.

SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Contact form
We offer a contact form on our website which you can use to request information about our products or services or to contact us in general. We have marked the data that you must provide in order to respond to a request as mandatory fields. Information on other data fields is voluntary.

We need this information to process your enquiry, to address you correctly and to send you a reply. In the case of specific enquiries, the data is processed to fulfil a contract or to initiate a contract. In the case of general enquiries, processing is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests.

Enquiries received via the contact form on our website are processed electronically by us in order to answer your enquiry. In this context, other persons or departments and possibly third parties may also become aware of the form contents that you have sent.

The transmission of form data via the Internet is carried out using encrypted connections.

Newsletter
You can also subscribe to an e-mail newsletter on our website. In addition to the voluntary information in the respective form, we only process your e-mail address. However, this is also absolutely necessary in order to be able to send you the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Alternatively, you will find a link to unsubscribe in every newsletter e-mail.

In order to be able to analyse the popularity of our newsletter mailings and optimise them, we log when emails are opened and links are clicked. This usage analysis is carried out on the basis of a balance of interests. You can object to this processing by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

Shop
Personal data is also processed for the operation of our online shop and the ordering of goods and/or services. With regard to the shop functions, this is basically done for the initiation or fulfilment of contracts for the purchase or the purchase of our goods and service providers.

With regard to the display of suitable products in your terminal device, we process data from the use of the online shop on the basis of a weighing of interests.

Cookies
Cookies are used on our Internet pages. Cookies are small pieces of text information that are stored in your end device via your browser. The cookies are necessary to enable certain functions of our internet pages.

We use both session cookies, which are automatically deleted by your browser immediately after you have finished visiting the website.

In the area of web analysis, however, we also use so-called persistent cookies, which are not automatically deleted after the end of the visit to our website.

You have the option of preventing the setting of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we would like to point out that the use of our website may then only be possible to a limited extent. Cookies do not install or start any programs or other applications on your computer.

The use of cookies is based on a consideration of interests. Our interest is the user-friendly visit of our website.

Web analysis
The web analysis tool "Google Analytics" is used on this website. The purpose of its use is the "needs-based design" of this website, which is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests. The web analysis also enables us to detect and correct errors on the website, e.g. due to faulty links. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. So-called "client IDs" are used, which are used to create pseudonymous usage profiles that record the use of the website by desktop computers and mobile devices by a user together.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, as we have activated so-called IP anonymisation on this website and concluded a corresponding order processing agreement with Google, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google is certified according to the so-called "Privacy Shield"(list entry). Google guarantees an appropriate level of data protection.

You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link(http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Alternatively, you can - especially on mobile devices - prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will then be set, which will prevent the future collection of your data when visiting this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

You can find more information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and data protection information at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Web Fonts
We use so-called Google Web Fonts on our website. These fonts are loaded from Google servers to improve the design of the website. The data processing is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests, whereby our interest lies in an appealing design of the website.

The fonts in question are loaded from Google servers, which are generally located in the USA. The appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by Google( "Privacy Shield"list entry ).

Google Maps API
This site uses Google Maps ("Google Maps"), a mapping service provided by Google, Inc ("Google").

In order to be able to show you the maps called up, your IP address is recorded by Google, which may be transmitted by Google to servers in the USA and stored there. In addition, Google may collect data about your use of Google Maps. We do not have access to your data and cannot control it. You can find Google's privacy policy here: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

By using Google Maps on our site, you agree to Google's terms of use, which can be viewed at the following link: https://www.google.com/intl/de/help/terms_maps.html.

If you do not agree to the collection of your data through the use of Google Maps by Google, you can prevent such data collection by completely deactivating the Google Maps service. To do this, you must deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. Please note that in this case you will not be able to use Google Maps.

Privacy policy for the use of ajax.googleapis.com
This page uses the Javascript library jQuery. In order to increase the loading speed of the page and thus provide you with a better user experience, we use Google's CDN (content delivery network) to load this library. Chances are that you have already used jQuery on another page from the Google CDN. In that case, your browser can access the cached copy and it does not need to be downloaded again. If your browser does not have a cached copy or is downloading the file from the Google CDN for any other reason, data will again be transferred from your browser to Google Inc ("Google"). In this case, you also agree to your data being transferred to the USA.

Use of Cookiebot
Cookiebot is an online service that helps us to ensure that the use of cookies and the online tracking of these conform to data protection regulations. By using the web service Cybot A/S (Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark), your browser transmits personal data to the above-mentioned company. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest lies in the error-free functioning of the website. The data is deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection has been fulfilled. Further information on the handling of the transmitted data can be found in the privacy policy of cookiebot.com: www.cookiebot.com/de/privacy-policy/ . You can prevent the collection as well as the processing of your data by cookiebot.com by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker in your browser (you can find this, for example, at www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com). You have the right to change your consent or revoke it at any time.

YouTube
This site uses plugins from YouTube, a site operated by Google. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established.

This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Purposes of the processing of personal data

We process the aforementioned data for the operation of our website and for the fulfilment of contractual obligations towards our customers or the protection of our legitimate interests.

In the case of enquiries from you outside of an active customer relationship, we process the data for the purposes of sales and advertising. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time.

Voluntary information

If you voluntarily provide us with data, e.g. in forms, and this data is not required for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations, we process this data on the legitimate assumption that the processing and use of this data is in your interest.

Recipients / passing on of data

As a matter of principle, data that you provide to us will not be passed on to third parties. In particular, your data will not be passed on to third parties for their advertising purposes.

However, we may use service providers for the operation of these Internet pages or for other products or services of ours. We select our service providers carefully - especially with regard to data protection and data security - and take all measures required by data protection law for permissible data processing.
