At Hansen, we have been lighting up our customers' ideas since 1984. Specialising in the development and production of light sources and the associated electronics, we have continued to develop over the years and now sell our innovative LED products all over the world.
Our aim is to manufacture products that fulfil the requirements and expectations of our customers in the long term. To achieve this, we use state-of-the-art processes and production facilities.
Our innovative expertise has now also been officially tested and certified.
The Research Grant Certification Centre has officially recognised us as an innovation driver for the second time and awarded us the BSFZ Seal 2025 for in-house research and development. The BSFZ was commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
"The BSFZ seal proves that a company is researching and developing. Companies can use this seal to present their entrepreneurial innovation expertise to the public," says Dr Andreas Hoffknecht, Head of the Research Grant Certification Centre.
The seal is a sign of successful admission to the BSFZ funding programme and thus a significant recognition of innovation activities.
The following Hansen project has currently been reviewed by a BSFZ expert consortium as part of the application process and recognised as eligible for funding:
PCB production project: Development of an automated production line for the manufacture of new circuit boards, which additionally increases production speed by a factor of 10 & reduces waste
By receiving the BSFZ seal of approval and the associated financial support, we are now in a position to intensify our research and development work and further expand our position on the market.
We are delighted to have received this award and will continue to work on offering our customers innovative solutions.
